You all know how much Mr. Table and I love our Saturday pancakes. But it’s been a while since I tried a new pancake recipe. Ok, not that long, since I shared my no added sugar blueberry muffin pancakes a couple of weeks ago, but I used to try new pancake recipes every week, so I’ve slowed down a bit!
Banana pancakes are some of my favorites, so I wanted to make another banana pancake recipe for the blog. (I have one for banana nut pancakes here.) I wanted this recipe to be super easy, full of delicious banana flavor, and a nutritious choice that you can feel good eating, even on week days. So like most of my recipes, these gluten-free banana chai blender pancakes are made with just a few simple ingredients. They contain only oats, banana, egg, baking soda and powder, spices, and my newest yogurt obsession: siggi’s no added sugar banana & cinnamon yogurt!
The no added sugar siggi’s makes these pancakes super flavorful and moist, without any added sugar. It also gives them a little protein boost, which is great for pancakes and other breakfast foods that don’t normally have a lot of protein. I like to add an extra scoop of yogurt on top of my pancakes for even more flavor and protein!
Because these banana chai blender pancakes are made with oats and no flour, they are naturally gluten-free and whole grain – perfect for providing filling fiber while being safe for my gluten-sensitive friends. And they take almost no time to whip up in the morning. Just blend all of the ingredients in a blender, pour and cook! I suggest using a very ripe banana for the most banana flavor and more natural sweetness.
These gluten-free banana chai blender pancakes make the most delicious breakfast treat on lazy weekend mornings with a cup of coffee or chai tea. But they are also nutritious enough for everyday. If you’d like some leftover pancakes for weekday mornings that you can heat up in a pinch, double or triple the recipe and store your extra pancakes in the refrigerator or freezer. Then just heat up as many as you need, eat, and go. You and your belly with both be happy all morning!

Gluten Free, No Added Sugar Banana Chai Blender Pancakes

- Yield: Six 4" pancakes 1x

- In a blender or NutriBullet, combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth.
- Heat a griddle or nonstick skillet to 350°F. Lightly grease, if needed.
- Pour batter by 1/4 cup onto hot griddle. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, about 1 minute. Flip and cook until done, about 30 seconds more.
- Repeat with remaining batter.
- Top pancakes with more siggi’s no added sugar banana cinnamon yogurt and banana slices. If desired, drizzle lightly with nut butter of choice, pure maple syrup or honey.
