I love wine, so naturally, sangria is one of my go-to party cocktails. It's so easy to make for a crowd and is light and refreshing for hot summer days. Although I'll also take it in the fall, winter, and spring as well!
Why You'll Love This Rosé Sangria
Rosé sangria is one of my favorites. Rosé makes the perfect sangria because 1. It's such a beautiful color, and 2. It pairs so well with food! This fruity rosé sangria made with strawberries, peaches, and raspberries is the perfect infusion of fresh seasonal produce. You'll love enjoying this refreshing drink on a hot summer day.
How to Make Fruity Rosé Sangria
- To make the puree, blend the fruit in a high-powered blender or food processor. Strain the blended fruit and discard the seeds.
- Add all of the ingredients except for the sparkling water to a pitcher. Stir and refrigerate until ready to use.
-
Add the sparkling water to the pitcher just before serving.
-
Pour sangria into glasses filled with ice and serve.
How long do you soak the fruit for Sangria?
If you're serving the sangria right away, you'll want to let it stand for at least 15 minutes. Ideally, sangria is best when refrigerated for at least 2 hours or overnight, as this additional soaking time allows the fruit to infuse with the wine.
Tips for Making the Best Rosé Sangria
- Don't forget to strain the puree after you blend it. This drink is so much better with a smooth, well-blended puree.
- If you don't have raspberries, you can puree strawberries for a little extra color and sweetness.
- I used seasonal strawberries and peaches with this delicious sangria, with a peach liqueur and raspberry puree to compliment the slightly fruity wine. It's so summery and festive and makes great use of ripe seasonal fruit. Just make sure you use fresh fruit, as you don't want the fruit to go mushy.
Because rosé is neither a light white or a bold red, it's just perfect to go with almost any food! It's perfect for serving to crowds at parties and cookouts! Make this fruity rosé sangria for your next summer gathering, and your guests will be begging you for the recipe! Cheers!
