This simple, 5-ingredient healthy strawberry cheesecake smoothie is a delicious treat for Valentine's Day or any day you're craving a smoothie that taste like dessert! (gluten-free)

If you're looking for a fun, nutritious start to your Valentine's Day morning, I've got just the recipe for you! Whip up this yummy strawberry cheesecake smoothie to share with your valentine…or to keep all to yourself! Not that there's anything wrong with enjoying something a little more indulgent on Valentine's Day. But if you prefer a more nutritious start, this is a great option.

Why You'll Love This Smoothie

You would never guess from the delicious taste of this strawberry cheesecake smoothie how simple (and nutritious!) it is. It tastes like cheesecake (my absolute favorite dessert) in a glass, but without the cream cheese or sugar coma. It's so creamy and just slightly tangy that you'd swear it was dessert. Which it could be if you are looking for a healthier dessert option! The cashew butter and Greek yogurt make this smoothie extra smooth and creamy for an indulgent-feeling smoothie that's naturally protein-rich.

The Ingredients

This festive smoothie is made with just 5 simple ingredients:

  • Strawberries - I use frozen strawberries for a thick, frosty smoothie
  • Milk
  • Cashew butter - I use cashew butter made with just cashews and salt
  • Lemon juice
  • Strawberry yogurt - I like super thick, lower sugar Icelandic style yogurt or skyr (such as siggi's)

How To Make It

Simply add everything to a high-speed blender (such as a Vitamix) and blend until smooth, then pour into a glass. For an extra special treat, top with whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs!

Recipe Variations

  • For a lower sugar version, you can use plain Greek yogurt in place of strawberry. Your smoothie won't be as sweet, of course.
  • Feel free to add a scoop of your favorite protein powder for more protein.

OMG, I made this last night. I had to hide the ingredients from my husband as he would never have tried it. He loved it lol. I don't have dairy so I used strawberry coconut yogurt and some oat yogurt to get the creamy texture. Simply fantastic.
