Skinny White Wine Mojitos are light, refreshing, minty, and the perfect cocktail for sipping by the pool this summer! (no added sugar, vegan, gluten-free)
Mojitos are one of my favorite cocktails. I just love a simple cocktail with so much delicious fresh mint and tart lime. I drank so many while laying by the pool during our honeymoon in Mexico. They had lots of delicious flavors to choose from, too. It was amazing.
But not every day is a honeymoon on the beach, and drinking rum all day is not always an ideal situation. But you know what is always ideal? Wine. If you haven’t figured it out yet, wine is always my go-to drink, and I looove white wine especially. And it’s perfectly acceptable to sip wine by the pool all day on a nice summer Saturday (at least I think).
Enter the Skinny White Wine Mojito. It’s light and refreshing with mint and lime, and just the right amount of alcohol without getting all ‘bachelorette party’ on you. So perfect for those situations where, you know, it’s not your honeymoon.
I first had a white wine mojito at the cutest little restaurant called Tiny Boxwood in Houston when I was visiting my sister. They have yummy food and a cute courtyard with flowers and the most delicious white wine mojitos. The original recipe calls for sparkling lemonade, but since these are skinny, I decided to nix the sugary lemonade and use sparkling lemon water (I like La Croix) instead. The result is so delicious! If you like your drinks a little sweeter, I suggest using a sweeter wine, like Moscato or Reisling, or using a few drops of agave nectar or liquid stevia to sweeten it up a bit. I prefer dry wines and drinks on the fresh (not sweet) side, so this is perfect for me without any extra sweetness.
If you need a delicious summer cocktail that won’t make you do some questionable things after a couple, try a Skinny White Wine Mojito. It may just become your summer go-to. Cheers!

Skinny White Wine Mojitos
Skinny White Wine Mojitos are light, refreshing, minty, and the perfect cocktail for sipping by the pool this summer!

- 1 bottle white wine (I like pinot grigio or saviaugn blanc for this recipe)
- 1 cup lemon flavored sparkling water (such as La Croix)
- 1 cup chopped mint leaves
- 2 limes, sliced and juiced
- In a large pitcher, mix white wine and sparkling water. Add stevia if using.
- Stir in limes, juice, and mint.
- Serve over crushed ice.
If you prefer a sweeter drink, add a touch of agave nectar or liquid stevia.
