I don't really like or live by food rules, but there is one rule I stick to no matter what - don't skip breakfast. I'm a person who doesn't function well without a nourishing meal in the morning, so no matter how busy things are, I make sure to always eat a healthy breakfast. A lot of times, I have to plan ahead and make my breakfast the night before. And a lot of times, it looks like this. An easy, delicious jar of overnight oats. This is one of my simplest overnight oats recipes - orange creamsicle overnight oats with no added sugar - yum!

Why You'll Love These Overnight Oats

With only 5 simple ingredients these overnight oats couldn't be any easier to make. Just mix it all up in a jar in less than 5 minutes and refrigerate overnight to have a delicious, nutritious breakfast ready for you first thing in the morning. They taste delicious - just like your favorite creamy, vanilla-y orange treat, but in oatmeal form. Top with your favorite fresh fruit or simply grab a spoon in the morning and dig in for a citrusy, sunny treat!

What Makes Them Healthy

This oatmeal has got it all - whole grains, fiber and healthy fats from oats and flaxseed; protein and calcium from Greek yogurt; and vitamin C, folate, potassium, and thiamin from 100% orange juice. Because orange juice is naturally sweet, there is no need for excess added sugar, which means your blood sugar stays more stable and you feel more energized, longer.

Love overnight oats, but I've never tried putting fruit juice in them - definitely giving this a try! Also congrats on the new baby girl 🙂
