A delicious dip is one of my go-to's for a shareable appetizer. Everybody loves a good dip, and they're unfussy. Warm spring and summer weather call for a cool, creamy dip, and this whipped feta artichoke dip is perfect!

    Why You'll Love This Dip

This dip is everything you need in a summer snack - creamy, savory and light, and incredibly easy to make! Salty feta cheese, artichoke hearts, lemon, garlic and basil whip up into a fluffy bowl of goodness that you won't be able to stop eating. It's made healthier and absolutely delicious.

    What Makes This Dip Healthy?

The creamy base of this dip is plain Greek yogurt. Usually made with just milk and live active cultures, Greek yogurt is always my secret weapon for making dips light, creamy, and protein-rich. It's also filled with the veggie goodness of artichokes for a little dose of filling fiber.

It couldn't be easier. Just add everything to the bowl of a food processor and blend until smooth and fluffy! Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and crumbled feta on top, if you're feeling fancy.

Can It Be Made In Advance?

Yes! This dip is great for making in advance. It holds up well in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Just know that fresh garlic gets stronger the longer it sits in the fridge, so if you're making the dip more than about a day in advance, I'd use only 1 clove.

    • Category: appetizer
    • Method: no cook
    • Cuisine: American

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
    • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
    • ⅔ cup feta cheese, crumbled
    • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
    • ¼ tsp freshly cracked pepper
    • Olive oil and additional feta, for serving (optional)

    Instructions

    1. Place everything in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until smooth and fluffy.
    2. Scoop dip into a serving dish. Top with a drizzle of olive oil and additional feta cheese (optional).
    3. Serve with crackers, pita chips, and/or fresh veggies.

    Notes

    • Leftover dip can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
    • Fresh garlic gets stronger the longer it sits in the fridge, so if you're making the dip more than about a day in advance, use only 1 clove of garlic.
    • You can use fresh, cooked artichoke hearts instead of canned if you'd like.
