Raspberry Frozé

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe

Raspberry frozé is the only cocktail you need for summer. It's an easy 2-ingredient drink that's so refreshing to sip by the pool, at cookouts or a random Tuesday evening on the porch!

The pretty pink rosé wine trend is still going strong, and I'm not complaining one bit!

I love a refreshing glass of rosé in the summer. Okay, I really love one any time. But there is something so delicious about a crisp, cold glass of rosé in the heat of the summer.

But what's even more refreshing than a glass of rosé? (Is that even possible?) A glass of frozen rosé, or frozé if you will.

This raspberry frozé is not only super delicious and refreshing on a hot day, but it's also so easy to make. Just blend 2 ingredients - frozen raspberries and your favorite bottle of rosé - and you have a fun wine slushy that's a little sweet, and little fruity, and totally amazing to sip on the hottest of August days.

I recommend grabbing your nearest pool float, a plastic wine tumbler, and straw and heading to the nearest pool with your raspberry frozé. It's also equally as delicious to share with friends at your end of summer cookout.

Since the ingredients are so simple, it's easy to customize your frozé just how you like it. Choose the wine you like best for the level of sweetness you prefer. Want more raspberry flavor? Add more. Like more wine? Add fewer raspberries.  Making drinks for a crowd? The recipe easily doubles or triples. Want a cocktail for one? Just blend up a couple of rosé cubes at a time with a few raspberries. You seriously can't go wrong.

But then, can you ever go wrong with rosé? The answer is no. Rosé can do no wrong. And neither can this raspberry frozé.

Cheers!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle rosé
  • ½ cup frozen raspberries

Instructions

  1. Pour rosé into ice cube trays to freeze. It won't freeze solid because of the alcohol, but leave it in for a good 4 hours or so.
  2. Place rosé cubes and raspberries in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve immediately, or place back into the freezer and blend quickly again right before serving.
