These easy and delicious Grilled Pineapple Teriyaki Pork Kabobs make a quick, flavorful meal that is perfect for any night of the week!
You know those days where everything has been hectic and you have no idea what to cook? Where you have no energy to think about planning a meal, much less cook one?
Yep. I’ve had a lot of those days lately. Despite meticulously planning out dinner for the week each and every Sunday, sometimes those plans get canceled in lieu of a bowl of cereal or a restaurant dinner with Mr. Table because we are just too wiped out to cook and then clean up.
I’m so excited to bring you this super easy dinner for nights like those. It comes together in less than 30 minutes, uses only a handful of simple ingredients, and cleanup is virtually nonexistent. I call that a dinner win, my friends.
Ok, you could argue that a bowl of cereal meets all of those criteria, too. But this meal is also hot, delicious and full of fruit, vegetables, and high-quality lean protein. It’s fancy enough to serve to a crowd at a moment’s notice or to feed to your family on a busy Tuesday night. All thanks to quick-cooking pork tenderloin.
All you need to make these delicious teriyaki pork kabobs with grilled pineapple and onions are a few simple ingredients: pork tenderloin - one of my favorite easy proteins for dinner, pineapple, red onion, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, honey, and oil! Make the simple teriyaki marinade and let the pork soak up all of its tasty flavors while you soak some skewers (or you can skip the soaking if you're using metal skewers). Then thread the ingredients on and grill!
It really does not get any simpler. You’ve got a fresh and delicious dinner that will please your whole family! This recipe made Mr. Table happy too because he had no clean-up afterward! (He cleans the kitchen on nights that I cook, which is most nights. Did I mention he’s the best?)
I served these yummy grilled pineapple teriyaki pork kabobs with some instant brown rice and sautéed green beans for an easy, balanced meal. I think they would also be delicious with my grilled sweet potato wedges if you want a meal cooked entirely on the grill.
Now you really have no excuse not to whip up a quick and delicious dinner! It's perfect for weeknights and summer entertaining alike!

These easy and delicious Grilled Pineapple Teriyaki Pork Kabobs make a quick, flavorful meal that is perfect for any night of the week!
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 15 minutes
- Total Time: 25 minutes
- Yield: 2-4 servings 1x
- Category: main dish
- Method: grilled
- Cuisine: Japanese
Ingredients
For the marinade:
- ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp fresh grated ginger or ginger paste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- black pepper, to taste
For the kabobs:
- 1 pork tenderloin
- ½ fresh pineapple
- 1 small red onion
Instructions
- Whisk all marinade ingredients together. Place in a large container or zip-top bag. Slice pork tenderloin into 1-inch thick slices. Place in the marinade and refrigerate about 30 minutes. Soak skewers in water while pork is marinating.
- Heat grill to medium-high heat. I use the gas grill because it’s quicker.
- Cut pineapple into chunks: Cut off top and bottom, then cut vertically all the way around to remove the skin. Cut vertically into quarters, then cut each quarter vertically down the center to remove the core. Slice 2 quarters into 1-inch thick slices. Reserve remaining half of pineapple for another use.
- Cut onion into chunks: Slice off top and bottom. Cut onion in half, and then cut each half into 1-inch pieces.
- Thread everything onto skewers, alternating pork, pineapple, and onion pieces.
- Carefully oil grill grates. Grill kabobs on medium-high heat, rotating so that all sides get cooked, until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F, about 10-15 minutes. Remove kabobs from grill and serve!
Notes
Use low sodium tamari instead of soy sauce for gluten-free.
