You may have already tried my famous skinny margaritas. If you love them, then you're sure to 'fall' for these delicious apple cider margaritas, too. These cocktails are the perfect touch to add to fall parties from Halloween to Thanksgiving, and everything in between!

These apple cider margaritas are just as easy to make as my original margaritas, with just 4 simple ingredients - 5 if you include the cinnamon rim. Tart, freshly-squeezed lime juice balances out sweet apple cider, while ginger beer adds a hint of fall spice and a fun bubbly feel. Rimming the glass with cinnamon gives each sip a cozy fall feel. You can whip up a couple of cocktails or a whole pitcher in no time at all!
The Ingredients
- Tequila - Use a good quality tequila for the best margaritas (with no headache tomorrow!). I like 1800 Silver or Herradura Silver. Tequila repasado works well, too.
- Lime juice - Freshly squeezed is the only way to go for a delicious margarita.
- Apple cider - I like to use unfiltered apple cider, usually found in the produce section.
- Ginger beer - If you can only find ginger ale, you can use that, too.
- Optional garnishes - Cinnamon for the rim, apple slices, cinnamon sticks.
How To Make Them
- To rim the glasses, rub a lime wedge around rims of the glasses. Dip in ground cinnamon on a shallow dish. Fill each glass with ice.
- In a shaker with ice, combine tequila, lime juice and apple cider. Shake vigorously.
- Strain into ice-filled glasses. Top each with ginger beer.
- Garnish with apple slices or cinnamon sticks (optional).
Making Pitcher Apple Cider Margaritas
To make a pitcher of margaritas, ensure all ingredients are chilled. Add all ingredients, including the ginger beer, to a pitcher without ice. Ice would melt and dilute the cocktail. Refrigerate until you're ready to serve. Then pour into ice-filled glasses once ready to serve. See 'notes' section in the recipe card for measurements.

Ingredients
- 3 oz good quality tequila
- 3 oz apple cider
- 2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
- 2 oz ginger beer
- Cinnamon, for rims

Instructions
- Rub a lime wedge around the rims of 2 glasses and turn upside-down onto a shallow dish filled with ground cinnamon to coat the rims. Fill glasses with ice.
- Add tequila, lime juice and cider to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously, then strain into ice-filled glasses.
- Top each drink with ginger beer.

Notes

- 9 oz tequila
- 9 oz apple cider
- 6 oz lime juice
- 6 oz ginger beer
- Make sure all ingredients are chilled. Combine in a pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve. Pour into ice-filled glasses just before serving.
