Anything dairy or animal-based should not be kept if it's been out over 2 hours at room temperature (cheese, yogurt, meats). Everything else can be saved and eaten later! Store fruit, pancakes or waffles, and any spreads in the refrigerator, while nuts, breads, and granola can be stored at room temperature.
