A crisp and refreshing white linen cocktail made with gin, elderflower liquor, cucumber, lime and soda is the perfect drink for spring and summer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5-6 cucumber slices
  • 1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1 1/2 oz gin
  • 1/2 oz elderflower liqueur (such as St. Germain)
  • 2 oz (more or less to taste) soda or sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Optional: cucumber slices and lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Muddle cucumber slices in a shaker.
  2. Add ice, lime juice, gin, and elderflower liqueur and shake.
  3. Strain mixture into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Top with soda and stir. Garnish with lime and cucumber slices, if you wish. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweet cocktail, you can add simple syrup to taste, or use Sprite in place of soda.

To make a pitcher:

  • Slice 1 cucumber and place in a pitcher with 3 oz lime juice, 9 oz gin, and 3 oz elderflower liqueur. Refrigerate 1-2 hours. Add 12 oz soda just before serving. Pour into glasses filled with ice. (Serves 6)
