Easy Oven Broiled Asparagus

If you’re looking for a healthy, quick and easy weeknight veggie, this oven broiled asparagus with garlic is it! Just a few simple ingredients and 10 minutes is all it takes for delicious asparagus that are perfectly cooked. (gluten-free, vegan)




  1. Place oven rack about 4 inches from broiler.
  2. Wash and trim thick, woody ends from asparagus. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet (lined with parchment or a silicone baking mat for easier cleanup).
  3. Spread garlic evenly over asparagus. Sprinkle generously with coarse sea salt and black pepper. Squeeze lemon evenly over asparagus and drizzle with olive oil. Give the pan a little shake from side to side to coat the asparagus.
  4. Broil on high for 5-10 minutes, or until asparagus has turned bright green and starts to get golden on the top. Watch carefully so that they do not burn.
  5. Remove from the oven and serve.
