This easy homemade Greek salad dressing is the BEST healthy dressing for pasta salads, Greek salads, marinades, and more! You'll love this traditional Greek dressing made with real, simple ingredients like olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, and oregano.


  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 3/4 tsp onion powder
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp feta cheese (optional)


  1. Place all ingredients in a jar and whisk or shake to combine. If you prefer a more emulsified dressing, blend the ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  2. Store covered in the refrigerator up to one week.



  • If you prefer a more emulsified dressing, use a food processor or blender to mix the ingredients. Just whisking or shaking the ingredients in the jar won't completely emulsify the dressing, so it will separate easily.
  • If you prefer, you can substitute 3/4 tsp garlic powder for the fresh garlic. It will last longer in the refrigerator if you use garlic powder.
