Healthier Slow Cooker Green Chile Corn Dip

Healthier slow cooker green chile corn dip is the perfect creamy, cheesy, appetizer with a hint of southwest spice for game day tailgating! (gluten-free, nut-free, vegetarian)


  • 1 block (8 oz) 1/3-less fat cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups plain nonfat greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cotija cheese
  • 4 ears of corn, kernels cut off (or 2 cups corn kernels)
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 6-8 roasted hatch chiles, diced (or 2 cans chopped green chiles)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika


  1. Stir all ingredients together in the slow cooker and cook on high 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn down to low and cook until onions are soft.
  2. Turn off heat (or keep on warm setting) and serve with tortilla chips, veggies, or crackers.
