Making your own holiday ham is much easier than you think! Skip the pricey, pre-made honey glazed ham and make this maple brown sugar glazed ham for your next holiday dinner! (nut-free, dairy-free, gluten-free)

  1. Heat oven to 325°F. Wrap ham tightly in heavy duty foil. Place cut side down in a large roaster or baking dish.
  2. Bake ham about 15 minutes per pound, or until internal temperature reaches 140°F.
  3. Remove ham from oven. Turn oven up to 400°F.
  4. Carefully unwrap foil from the top, leaving it in place at the bottom.  Pour glaze over the top of the ham, using a spoon to spread it evenly over the outside.
  5. Place ham back in the oven for about 20 minutes, spooning glaze that has collected in the bottom over ham every 5 minutes or so.
  6. Remove from oven and serve hot.
  7. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
