Honey Butter Old Bay Shrimp

Delicious honey butter old bay shrimp. Perfect to add to a pasta or as a side dish. 

Ingredients

  • 1 pound small peeled and cleaned shrimp

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons honey 

  • 2 teaspoons old bay seasoning 

  • ½ spoon salt (or to taste) 

  • chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl dress the cleaned shrimp with the old bay seasoning making sure to coat them well. Set aside. 

  2. In a pan melt the butter and once melted cook the prawns for 7 minutes (depending on their size) 

  3. Add the honey to the pan and mix well, cook for 3 more minutes. 

  4. Serve with some chopped parsley on top. 

Notes

These honey butter old bay shrimp are super delicious to serve with white rice, pasta or as a side dish. 

Better eaten right after being made but if you want to make them in advance or there might be any leftovers, those can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days in a sealed container. 

This recipe can be also made with any kind or type of shrimp, just make sure to devein and deshell them to cook tem with this method. Fresh or frozen too, if using frozen shrimp, make sure to thaw them first.
