Sweet and savory pear blue cheese crostini are delicious, easy holiday appetizers that are perfect for any  party. Made in just 15 minutes with 4 ingredients, you'll love serving these party bites to your guests! (vegetarian, nut-free)

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 baguette (I like whole grain or sourdough)
  • olive oil
  • 1 wedge creamy blue cheese
  • 1 large pear, cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Slice baguette 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick. Place on a baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  2. Toast crostini in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  3. Spread each crostini generously with blue cheese. If your cheese is more crumbly, thinly slice it instead of trying to spread it.
  4. Top piece with 1-2 pear slices, and drizzle with honey.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt and serve.
