Dark Chocolate Tahini Cups

Satisfy your sweet tooth with these delicious salted dark chocolate tahini cups. They're a grown up version of your favorite peanut butter and chocolate candy - less sweet and perfect for an after dinner treat! (gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free option)


  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate (dairy-free if necessary)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tsp water
  • Flake salt


  1. Line a mini muffin tin with 8 paper liners. You can also just set them on a plate.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips by heating in 15-second intervals, stirring between each, until chocolate is completely melted.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together the tahini and water until the tahini is nice and thick.
  4. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the melted chocolate into the bottom of each paper liner. Scoop 1 teaspoon of the tahini into the center of each cup. Top with an additional teaspoon of melted chocolate, and smooth with the back of a spoon.
  5. Sprinkle each cup with a pinch of flake salt.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator until set, about 30 minutes.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
