These easy, 3 ingredient cinnamon sautéed pears with no added sugar are a delicious way to use up extra pears! Use them to top everything from oatmeal and pancakes to grain bowls and salads! (vegan, gluten-free, no added sugar)

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large pears
  • 2 tsp oil (I like to use coconut or avocado oil)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Peel, core and slice pears into 1/2-inch slices.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium low heat.
  3. Add pears, water and cinnamon. Stir.
  4. Cover and cook, stirring every once in a while, until pears are softened and caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days.
  • Leave the peel on for more fiber and less prep work, if you'd like.
