Learn how to make frozen salmon in the air fryer without needing to thaw it. In this recipe, I share two different flavorings to cook it in the air fryer. Super tender, juicy, perfectly cooked and so good!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets

Lime herbed sauce:

  • 1 garlic clove

  • dried or fresh dill

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 lime

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Honey and mustard sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons grain dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Prep the flavoring of your choice:

  • Lime herbed sauce: In a small bowl add 1 clove of garlic (crushed) the zest of one lime, the juice of the lime, the dill, salt, and olive oil. Mix well.

  • Honey and mustard sauce: In a small bowl mix the honey, grainy dijon mustard, salt and pepper.

2. Paint the basket of the air fryer with olive oil to prevent the salmon from sticking.

3. Place the salmon fillets (skin up) leaving enough space for the air to circulate. Paint them with your sauce of choice.

4. Cook at 395 for 20 minutes.

Notes

Depending on how big/thick your salmon fillets are you might need to adjust the timing to a bit less or more. My advice is to start with 20 minutes and check the interior and increment 3 minutes more if it’s not all cooked.

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days in a sealed container.
