Healthy Green Goddess Dressing with Avocado and Greek Yogurt

This healthy green goddess dressing with avocado and Greek yogurt is a delicious dip or dressing that is so easy to make in just 5 minutes and goes well on everything from salads, to sandwiches, to crudité platters! (gluten-free, vegetarian, nut-free)

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 green onions, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves (loosely packed)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves (loosely packed)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 large avocado (or 1 whole small avocado)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except for water to a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding water a little at a time as needed to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Store dressing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • You can use full fat or nonfat plain Greek yogurt.
  • Try substituting other fresh herbs, such as tarragon, chives, or basil.
  • Add the water a little at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
